PFN mourns the loss of 3 Journalists

The  Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria is deeply saddened at the death of 3 journalists – Adolphus Okonkwo, Kafayat Odunsi and Tunde Oluwanike on the Ilesa- Ife expressway at the weekend while on return journey from professional duty in Abuja.

Their death is a huge loss to the the pen professon  and Nigeria, as the country yearns for the contribution of all towards national development. The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria identifies with the Nigerian union of Journalists in its moment of grief and prays that such unfortunate incidents will not be experienced again by the union.

The PFN President, Rev. Dr. Felix Omobude salutes the sacrificial  commitment and dedication of all journalists, as they  continue to discharge their duties, irrespective of the challenges peculiar to their profession and environment.

He prayed for a repose of the souls of the departed and for comfort and fortitude for the families left behind to bear the loss.
