PFN in Diaspora

The Directorate has the mandate to bring aboard the Nigeria Pentecostal community outside the shores of Nigeria.It shall be made up of a Board of Advisers charged with the task of realising the objectives for which the Directorate has been set up.

The functions of the directorate are :-

  • To open a register for all members of the Pentecostal fold in the Diaspora
  • To interface between PFN and ministries and churches in the diaspora
  • Ministries and Churches will register and be issued with registration identification marks (Registration Number, certificate, plaque and seal).
  • The directorate will ensure that all members of the PFN in the Diaspora are captured in the PFN database for ease of reference, monitoring
  • The directorate will also ensure compliance with laid-down guidelines, standards, ethics and values of the PFN.
  • The Directorate will serve to foster peace and harmony among members in diaspora
  • It will help to resolve disputes among members in the diaspora
  • It will serve to guarantee protection for them from all firms of mishap, misadventure or discrimination in the counties they operate in.
  • Prepare and submit a report of its activities to the President and the National Executive Council of the PFN periodically.

Prayers, Supplication and Intercession

The Prayers, Supplication and Intercession Directorate shall be made up of members so appointed by the President, with a Chairman and Secretary to direct affairs of the directorate.

The core mandate of this directorate is to ensure fidelity to the Bible and the constitution of PFN by all its members. The functions of the directorate are :-

The functions of this Directorate is to

  • Ensure that the PFN is properly mobilised with continuous and sustained prayers, supplication and intercession for the nation, PFN leaders, members and the church.
  • Set up an annual programme of activities to guide the members of PFN on prayers, supplication and intercession.

Emergency Response & Intervention

The Emergency Response & Intervention Directorate shall be made up of members, made up of a team of experienced and trustworthy people, who will discharge their duties professionally.

The members of the directorate shall be appointed by the President, with a Chairman and Secretary so chosen to direct affairs of the directorate.

The core mandate of this directorate shall be to administer the Emergency Response and Intervention fund so set up by the PFN

The functions of the directorate are :-  

  • Champion efforts to mobilise resources for the fund and manage same on behalf of the National Executive Council of the PFN.
  • Cause to be set up a storehouse where goods and materials so donated shall be kept from which it shall be adminsteredin case of emergency.
  • Maintain a record of receipt and disbursement of fund and materials by the Directorate
  • Manage the affairs of the Emergency Response and Intervention fund
  • Ensure that the intervention fund ministers to victims of man-made and natural disaters, especially Christians and Christian leaders who are victims of attacks against the church.
  • Render accounts of its activities to the President and the National Executive Council of the PFN periodically.
